Trail Report

Update:  March 22nd, 2013

Remember when I said the snow was melting and temps were rising………?

I hope you really didn’t believe me because Winter has returned!

We’ve had near 2″ fall overnight here in Sumpter and as of this morning………..

the Bourne Snotel is reporting a gain of  4″ overnight with a base of 33″” at  5850 feet.

Reports are coming in that riding is still good around 6000 ft. with late season conditions…please keep in mind that there has been no grooming since the Poker Run in February.

Weather Forecast for Sumpter  is calling for record cold temps for tonight and Saturday….see the entire forecast here.

Thanks to Grooming Chairman Jim Sheller for all the great trail information this season!

Thanks to the volunteers of the Sumpter Valley Blue Mountain Snowmobile Club who worked so hard to maintain the snowmobile trails this season!

Please remember the speed limit for snowmobiles is 15 mph.

It is unique to be able to ride throughout town…

but our city streets are not the trail!

Please be respectful and safe as you ride!
